Starting with a live concert this

outstanding scholars of Filipino descent, will be held at the Embassy

sports festival, open to the public, will be held at Bohrer Park in
Gaithersburg, Maryland all day Sunday.
WHO:
Philippine
Ambassador to the U.S., Albert del Rosario, other
distinguished members of the diplomatic corps, top Filipino American
business and community leaders, as well as local elected officials,
will attend most of this weekend's events.
“We look
forward to raising more funds for charity and continuing our outreach
efforts to mainstream Americans” said Marie Remy Cabrera,
Overall Chairman of this year's Philippine Festival Committee 2003
